The BLU Crusher is a small rolling/forging mill of a new type developed by Hugh McDonald.
Foot controled opening and closing of the rolls lets a single operator roll billets where in the past rolls required two operators or a reversing mechanism.
Laminated steel (Damascus) billets can be welded and smoothly drawn without distortion of the pattern.
Tapers can be formed by use of the simple foot control. Drawing is done smoothly and quietly.
