The Slack-Tub Pub is a family forum. Although designed for blacksmiths and metalworkers it is also a public forum. As such we request that you act in a civil manner and use clean language. Abusers may be asked to leave and their access privileges revoked.

Requests will be handled as soon as possible (usually within 24 hours). This is NOT an automatic system. Your application is reviewed by a person, not automatically by a machine.

We reserve the right to reject politicaly indecent and generally nasty logins, passwords and email addresses.

NOTE: FAULTY E-MAIL and SPAM Blockers: We have received a lot of requests with faulty e-mail addresses. We reply to that address when we process your registration. If the mail to you bounces then your registration is canceled immediately. Please check your address.

We cannot contact you about a failed registration or a change if you provide a faulty address!

SPAM BLOCKERS: If you have a system that requires us to be on the list to recieve mail from us then have the courtesy to ADD us first. We will NOT respond to automated anti-spam registration systems. There is not enough time in the day to deal with all the buggy proprietary systems out there.

NOTE: We send an e-mail to you on registration and then every couple months and no more often than once a month to test the validity of users e-mail addresses. These mailings are required to maintain the Slack-Tub Pub. This is the only way we have of assuring that we do not have a huge number of useless or dead registrations. These mails may contain news, notices, sales information or solicitations from anvilfire.com. IF you do not wish to receive these mailings then DO NOT REGISTER!

We do not SPAM and we do not share our users lists with others. But we must contact you occasionally for the reasons above.
